Getting Started

Getting started is easy. Once you've made a decision to be coached, I will send you a packet of materials including questions and exercises by email. These will help you take a snap shot of your life and focus us on your initial goals for coaching.
Our first session (discovery session) will be an extended session lasting from 2-3 hours. You will help me get to know you and what is important to you. We will talk in more detail about what brings you to coaching and identify strategies we can use that will meet your needs. As with each of our sessions, you will leave with some 'homework' to finish before our next session. These are activities that will move you forward and deepen your learning, based on what you have chosen to be coached on.
We will work together 3-4 times a month with each session lasting 45 minutes. In between our sessions we can exchange emails, as needed, to continue the work we did in our session, to clarify anything that comes up and to keep you accountable to the next steps you've committed to taking. I am your coach 24/7, not just when we're in a session.
I coach on the telephone/skype/msn (world wide) and face-to-face in person (Dubai). I assure you that by telephone is as effective as meeting in person. I use the telephone because it provides access for clients no matter where they reside in the world and it also provides a convenience, not requiring travel time. If you are living in Dubai, we can meet for introductions in person but our coaching will mostly be phone-based. For those who do not live in Dubai, but in the U.A.E, I always make an effort to connect if I am in your Emirate.
How long do people engage in coaching?
As long as they find it beneficial! I ask my clients to commit to three months because change does not (usually) occur overnight.
